Wet Plate Collodion

We saw a great exhibit at the Gagosian today.

Dave knows about all the cool artists. He teaches me so much.

The photographs were enormous and poetic.

This one was my favorite.

They had these cool imperfections that made all the difference.

Sally Mann photographs her children. That's beautiful.

Dave loves imperfections.

Faces are the best subjects for painting and photography.

"Virginia"

The other portion of the gallery was this painter named Y.Z. Kami.

To see portraits this size is inspiring.

We are a couple of renegade, bootleg picture-snappers when we sneak photos via iphone.

Tonight we went out to Arnie Morton's to celebrate a birthday.

Dave's mom is so a wonderful. I feel like we are all, such a happy family.

This poor creature was waiting to be savagely murdered and eaten.

Vitamins and Minerals

Great Name

Kitty supervises all of the kitchen activities.

I like having my cat on the countertops. I don't think it's gross because she's BEAUTIFUL.

Inked

I drew Dave tonight.

Oil pastels feel so good.

I always get the eyes too big. It's hard to make them proportionate because they're the best part to draw.

I like using the beginners' supplies. There's so little pressure.

Beavid Alt

We finished filming Dave's new movie today.

"...I make my money, then I flip it." - Maya Hills

Dave has serious artistic vision.

Jenner (formerly known as 'God of Fuck')

Daniel pops in for some dialogue.

Doing this movie was such a blast for everyone involved. The entire crew was feeling it.

I made this cake because I'm just so proud of Davey!

Octavio loves vegan cooking.

Black Frosting Is Sexy

Madison is my favorite girl to do ATM's with.

Eric is a new friend to Dave and me. It really made a difference having such a punk-rock enthusiast helping out on set.

Vaya Cornholio!

Eon took these photos of us celebrating Dave's successful shoot.

I'm trying hard not to be cheesy. It gets old to see everything so fake.

The more natural, the better.

All Grown Out For Dave's '80's Movie

Unflattering boobs and stomach. Now that's candid!

Dave and I have been so inspired by these people on flickr.

Here's to you, South Eastern Couple!

A Moment Of Silence

David Small (a.k.a. Mr. Oriana Small) is an alias we use when checking into hotels.

Bigmouth Strikes Again

This is a black-frosted cake that I made.

Black is not a convenient color to bake with. I don't know why, but I just wanted it black.

Jica Ma Jus

Dave and I were invited to our friends' for dinner the other night.

Michael and Ramona

There was an alarming amount of meat.

We had a swell time. I love going to couples dinner parties.

At home, I made vegan Chocolate Vanilla Marble Cupcakes.

All Power To The People

We saw a great exhibit at the MOCA today.

The Revolutionary Art of Emory Douglas

I really know nothing about the Black Panthers. After looking at this art, I want to know all about the movement and that time in history.

I think they were the first to call authority the "Pigs."

I really need to learn more about American history.

A lot of cool things happened before I was alive and I feel like a dumb-ass for not paying enough attention.

I don't want to be a "pig."

The most political thing I've done so far is stop killing animals.

They are beautiful.

Bulldogs especially.

This one isn't ours, but he is a handsome man.

This one is mine.

I always look like a dork when we hike. It's a rule.

Dave and I saw his friend Blag last night.

Now that I'm not a drunk, we hang out at Starbucks before seeing The Dwarves play.

We came home to a house full of dog farts.

Calisthenics

Dave took some pictures (with his phone) of me doing jumping jacks.

He said it turned him on.

Seriously?

Yes. It's quite erotic.

Hell Toupee

I painted for the first time in months today.

I think I like oil pastels the best right now.

I need to be better at it though.

I feel like my mind is shedding skin, like a snake.

Dave inspires me all the time.

It's pretty amazing to live with a great artist.

We take advantage of our personal freedoms at all hours of the night.

When we got home from dinner with our totally awesome friends Dominique, John, Don and George Pitts, I just took off my attire and Dave started taking pictures.

I love to lay naked with the dog.

Because I don't eat meat anymore, I feel more connected with our animals.

This is the last night of long hair.

The hair on my head, that is. The bush shall remain!

Never trust a cat.

She invades my workspace with intent to destroy.

This only happens when she thinks we're not looking.

I'm always watching you, Kitty!

Ballet In The Dirt

We just got this amazing book tonight.

Eric edited it and signed it to Davey and me.

There are only one thousand in the edition, and we have number "10."

The photos are so beautiful.

I don't know anything at all about baseball in the 1960's and '70's. But looking at these pages makes me fall in love with the era.

Baseball used to be so slick.

Why don't umpires dress like this today?

What a masterpiece of a book!

Sometimes the porno make-up is so bad.

When it's this gnarly, I can only hope the dude will just cum in my eyes.

Our darling, Baby Kitty crushes my neck every morning and Dave takes a daily photo.

She is a serial snuggler.

I love my frog.

Frenchie Kisser

I'm getting so fat.

I don't know what the hell's going on. I'm not pregnant or eating meat. Dave said to stop insulting my ass by calling it names like "lard."

I don't want to get huge. But at least I'm happy.

New Jeer

I woke up this morning with a cat on my FACE.

Dave and I did a set of art shots this afternoon.

Artistic Piss

It was a really nice, dark color today.

Soy cheese is so fucked up. That is something that has to just be accepted when you give up the corruption of dairy.

We also had some roasted beets. That would explain the dark, red-tinted urine.

Coop and Ruth threw a very charming party to ring in 2008.

I feel so honored to be one of their guests. There were so many interesting and smart people to talk to, much like being at one of their weekly dinner parties at Musso's.

I'm just so full of hope and proud of all the friends that Dave and I have.

Eric said, "I have a present for you!" It was in a black garbage bag and it felt like a child's skeleton from the outside.

Suprise! Thank you, Eric. I've always wanted a dried chile necklace but have been too bashful to ever speak up about it.

For the first time in over ten years, I was not drunk on January 1st.
