I just watched the new Minutemen DVD: We Jam Econo - The Story of the Minutemen. One of my favorite bands growing up. It's a 2-disc set and has lots of extra live footage. The documentary is well done, interviews with: Milo Aukerman, Keith Morris, Flea and More....

Cousin Stevie then talks with Isabella about the importance of The Free Speech Coalition and the 2257 Regulations. Check local listings to see when the episode will air again. The season finale airs on June 30th. I can't believe the season is over so soon. I like this show.

George Carlin & Ann Coulter were on Leno last night. George Carlin was funny and intelligent and Ann Coulter was a complete moron. Richard Belzer called her a "Fascist Part Doll" on Real Time a while back (thanks for refreshing my memory, Barbara).

I saw Hank III and Danzig on 6.6.06. Beatrice and I went and met up with Steve & Victor. Danzig joined Hank and they played some Hank Sr. songs, also Killer Wolf and Twist of Cain. If you haven't heard Hank III's new album, check it out, it's Raw Outlaw Country.

The Proposition - Nick Cave

Steve Diet and I saw The Proposition on Sat. It's a Western that takes place in the 1880s in the Australian Outback and the screenplay is written by Nick Cave. I was thinking of seeing The Omen, but this was the better choice. Excellent movie.
