Motel 6 - Meth Update

So I spoke with Angela 800-557-3435 with Motel 6 Guest Relations (yeah, I know that sounds funny) on Friday. I told her what happened and tried one last time to get Eric his room back for the last two nights. I explained to her how difficult it is to get rooms in S.D. during the Comic Con. She said she understood, but would have to call me back within the hour. Well, I still haven't heard back from her. What in the hell is wrong with these people?

Motel 6 - Methamphetamine - San Diego

Eric (Hollywood Book & Poster) asks me to drop off the box with my books on my way to San Diego for the Comic Con. I get there about 10:30 last night and when I knock on the window at Motel 6 (Hotel Circle- 619-296-1612) they point me around back. I knock on the door and a security guard lets me in. I walk to the front desk and Jon, the guy taking reservations (who looks like he's been hitting the crack pipe for the last 10 days) tells me I can't be in there and I have to leave. I ask him if I can leave the box for my friend and give him his room number. He says to leave the box and repeats that I must get out of there. I write Eric's name on the box and walk out. There's a long line to register, so I get on my cell phone and call the hotel to tell them to make sure Eric gets the box of books. Jon (Motel 6 - Crack piple user) picks up the phone and tells me he's called the police and they're coming to make sure there's not a bomb in the box. I tell him I'll open the box and show them there are only books, but he says I'm not allowed in the office and must wait for the Police to come. I call Eric, explain what's happening and leave for the hotel where I'm staying. Eric calls me back and says they've told him they called the Police because I forced my way into the lobby and left the box there. Yes, this is fucking insane. The Police come and open the box and see there are only books in it and leave. Then when Eric gets to Motel 6 they tell him they've disposed of the box. He gets upset and the lady (shares the pipe w/ Jon) finally gets the box for Eric and says they don't want his Porn anyway and says they are kicking him out in the morning- he was booked and paid till Sunday. I call in the morning to try and straighten things out, but Hector (another piece of work and part of the Motel 6 staff) won't budge and says Eric can't return for the next two nights. Now I know Motel 6 is one step above sleeping on the floor of a crackhouse, but I didn't think they were this fucked up.

I shot Satine Phoenix last week. I knew she'd be fun to shoot when I met her at Rock N Roll Bingo. She loves Bondage and almost passed out after the first suspension. When she came back to life, she had a big smile on her face and said she loved it.

Jesus Loves Us

Octavio & I had some support from the lord on Friday during our show in Phoenix, AZ at Perihelion Arts. At first the angry Jesus Freaks were ok with us taking photos of them until they realized that we were plugging our books and movies alongside them. Then came the threats and Police. The Police informed them they couldn't do anything about the photos or video we took. Sorry guys, go preach your shit somewhere else.

Redd Kross reunited the Neurotica line up on Saturday for their first show in like nine years. I saw lots of people I haven't seen in years and was happy to find out the Dave Markey classic Lovedoll Superstar was just released on DVD.
