Chris Burden - Through The Night Softly 1973

Chris Burden's piece Through The Night Softly shows him crawling through 50 feet of broken glass with his hands tied behind his back. He made this into an ad and purchased a time slot after the 11:00 news. The ad played 5 times a week for 4 weeks.
