NO on Prop 8 (Prop Hate)

If you live in California, please Vote NO on Proposition 8. Prop 8 will eliminate the right for same sex couples to marry. All the yes on Prop 8 ads I've seen are paid for by The Knights of Columbus: a Catholic group that supports Prop 4, which would mandate parental notification prior to having an abortion. The Mormons have been sending certified letters to companies that donated to "No on 8" and Equality California (one of the major funders of the No campaign) demanding that the companies provide a matching donation to Yes on 8, or they would be "outed." Religion rears it's ugly head.

Rudy Ray Moore aka Dolemite 1937-2008

Rudy Ray Moore died Sunday of complications from diabetes. I've been a fan of his work since I saw The Human Tornado (trailer below) while I was on tour. I was lucky enough to see him perform live at Club Lingerie back in the 80's with Blowfly.



Before we shot my upcoming Vivid-Alt movie Sugar Town I watched it again with Ori and gave Octavio a copy to give him an idea of the style I was going for.

Max Hardcore

Max Hardcore was sentenced to 46 months in a minimum security prison today for distributing consensual videos through the mail and internet. His website was forfeited (see image above), he was fined $7,500.00 and his company was fined $75,000.00. During the last eight years, The Bush administration has been attacking the 1st amendment, two Dept of Justices (surrounded by corruption) have been forced to step down and a huge amounts of money have been spent prosecuting producers of consensual adult entertainment.
