Freddie Hubbard 1938-2008

Freddie Hubbard died Monday at the age of 70. Open Sesame featuring Tina Brooks on Tenor Saxophone is my favorite of his albums. I got this CD cover signed when I saw him in the 90's at Catalina Bar & Grill.

Ori and I saw Darren Aronofsky's new movie The Wrestler on Christmas. Mickey Rourke should get the Oscar for this one. Turns out Eric was sitting a few rows in front us.
