Do you have any formal training?
No, I never went to school for photography. I learned how to shoot by assisting other photographers and trial & error.

Where can I get a signed copy of one of your books or how can I get my copy signed?
If you are in Los Angeles try the following book stores: Book Soup, Arcana, Hennessy & Ingals, Virgin, and Hustler.
If you'd like to have your own copy signed, drop me an email and I'll give you an address to send the book. You'll have to send me the return postage.

Where do you live?
Los Angeles, Ca. Despite what you may hear, L.A. is an ok place to live. It doesn't get too cold in the winter &
unlike the east cost, the summers aren't humid and painstakingly hot.

Is Photography the only thing you do?
I played music in the 80's and early 90's. Some of the bands I've played in are: Chemical People, Down By Law, The Last, Tater Totz, The Jeff Dahl Group, & It's OK.
You can find the cds at Amazon.com. Buy them all. I won't make a dime.

Have any of the Photos on this website been altered or touched up?
No, they've all been printed with no digital color alteration.

What kind of camera do you use?
I use a Hasselblad, Mamiya 645, Mamiya RZ67, Nikon F100, & Leica MP.

Do you need an Assistant?
No. I don't use one.
